What should I do if my benefits cannot be collected?

If we are unable to process your payment, you will automatically receive an email from our system. In this email, you will be asked to update your payment method within 48 hours so that we can attempt to process the payment again.

What exactly do I need to do?

  2. 2Under "Payment Method"
  • change the payment method (e.g., a different card or account) or
  • Please re-enter your payment information.

Important: Check your account/limit

Make sure that

  • there are sufficient funds in your account (for direct debit), or
  • your credit limit is sufficient and the card is valid (for credit cards),

…so that the next attempt to move in is successful.

What happens if I don't respond in time?

If the payment method is not updated by the payout date (usually 13 days after the project ends), the funds may no longer be collected.

Tip

If you have multiple backings (or multiple projects), check the backing details to make sure you've updated the payment method for the correct project.
