Who is responsible for implementing a project?

The project creators are responsible for carrying out the project—not Startnext. When you back a project, a legally binding contract is formed between you and the project creator regarding the delivery or provision of the reward.

What does that mean, exactly?

1) Participants are responsible for

  • Implementation of the project
  • Production/Service Provision and Shipping/Delivery of the Thank-You Gifts
  • Communicating project updates and addressing any issues or delays that may arise

2) Agreement between the Starter and the Supporter

With this support, you enter into a contract with the Starter regarding the thank-you gift. This also means that you are generally entitled to receive the delivery or service.

3) Transparent communication

Starter participants are required to provide supporters with truthful and transparent information regarding the status of contract fulfillment in the event of questions or issues.

Note on Startnext's role

Startnext provides the platform and supports the process with rules and procedures—but does not always review project content in advance to ensure its plausibility.
