Startnext deducts commissions and transaction costs from the funding amount approximately 20 days after the end of the campaign. Costs are only incurred upon disbursement - creating and starting a project is free of charge.
For maximum security, we recommend the all-or-nothing principle: we only collect the money and pay it out when your funding target has been reached. Example: You need €10,000 and set your funding target at €11,500 (including commission, transaction costs and VAT). The €10,000 will only be paid out if this amount is reached.
If no fixed amount is required, you can start a flexible campaign - but keep an eye on the costs.
