Once your project is in the funding phase and can be actively supported, the most important things are commitment and trust. Please note that any changes made during the funding phase are published immediately and are visible to everyone.
Can I change my minimum amount during the financing phase?
Yes—as long as you haven't reached the minimum amount yet, you can adjust it at any time.
You can adjust it in the project interface under Crowd & Funding > Funding Goals. You can raise or lower it as many times as you like—but the new amount must be higher than the amount already raised. The project update you write will then be sent to your backers via email.
Can I still change the duration of my campaign during the funding phase?
Yes, starting with the Pro Plan, you can adjust your term yourself even during the financing phase.
- Starting with the Pro Plan: You can extend or shorten your project as you wish within a total of 150 days—even during the funding phase.
- In the Basic Plan: A 60-day term is available here, which you cannot adjust during the funding phase. If you'd like to extend it, you can upgrade at any time.
Every time the duration is changed, a message is sent to all your subscribers, and an update is displayed in the footer navigation of the project details page. Please keep this in mind when making changes.
What else can I customize in the "Thank You" section?
Almost everything—you can add and edit thank-you gifts at any time, with one important exception for thank-you gifts that have already been booked.
- You can add more thank-you gifts at any time, up to the limit specified for your product plan (12 thank-you gifts on the Basic or Pro plan, unlimited on the Premium plan).
- You can customize all properties, including titles, images, and limits.
- Exception: Once thank-you gifts have been booked, you can no longer change the price or the selected variants—this ensures that the orders are binding.
Can I still change the product plan or the type of crowdfunding?
You can upgrade your product plan at any time, but once you've created it, you can no longer change the crowdfunding type.
- Product Plan: You can upgrade (Basic → Pro → Premium → Enterprise) at any time, even during the financing period—this allows you to unlock additional services. You can also activate a (new) discount code at that time. A downgrade is not possible, as the plan includes services that are available immediately and the performance commission is tied to them. If you have any questions about upgrades, please feel free to contact our team.
- Crowdfunding Type: Once you've created the project, you can no longer change the selected crowdfunding type. If you need a different type, please create a new project.
What else can I customize?
You can update images, text, and other settings at any time, even during the campaign.
- Images and text (e.g., cover photo, project description) can be updated at any time. We recommend updating the timeline (rotating stories or cover photo) regularly. New thank-you messages, rotating thank-you videos, and blog posts also help keep the campaign dynamic.
- Stretch Goals: Starting with the Pro Plan, you can also add and edit stretch goals retroactively, as long as a goal hasn't been reached yet.
- Payout Account: Once the funding phase has begun, only the IBAN of the verified individual or organization can be changed—not the account holder. To do so, please email us at [email protected].
Wasn't there a deadline 24 hours before the end of the funding period?
Yes. That used to be the case for adjustments to the campaign duration or the minimum amount. As of June 23, 2026, there are no longer any restrictions; you can change the duration and minimum amount at any time up until the actual end of your campaign, provided all other requirements are met (e.g., the correct product plan). Projects usually end at 11:59 p.m. on the selected day; changes can be made up until then.
