Yes - with stretch goals, you can create several of your own funding goals for your project. This is possible from the Pro plan and allows up to 10 goals per project.
Instead of just setting a single goal, you define several milestones with their own title, amount and a reason as to what will happen when they are reached. Your supporters will see a progress bar and a timeline for each goal on the project page - making it transparent what additional support is working towards.
What is possible depending on the plan
Basic plan: exactly one financing target - your minimum amount (all-or-nothing) or an individual communicative financing target.
From Pro-Plan: up to 10 milestones per project. The first target can be either a minimum amount (AON) or a flexible target. Thank-you gifts can be assigned to individual milestones.
How to create milestones
- 1Open your project interface under Crowd & Funding > Funding goals.
- 2Create your first goal (title, amount, reason) and decide whether all-or-nothing (AON) should be active.
- 3Add further milestones - they are automatically sorted by amount.
- 4Go to Thank you > *individual thank you* in the power-up for goal commitment and assign the appropriate milestone.
Link thank-you gifts to milestones
You can link thank-you gifts directly to a milestone. The thank-you gift can only be booked once the associated goal has been reached. You decide:
- Visible from the start, but not yet bookable - shows the community what they can work towards together.
- Hidden until the goal is reached - appears automatically as soon as the milestone has been reached.
Do you already have a project in the financing phase? Milestones can also be added and edited retrospectively as long as a goal has not yet been reached - this also applies to the minimum amount originally set.
You can find more background in the blog post on the launch of the milestones.
