Someone has invited you to join a crowdfunding project on Startnext as a team member. You’ll receive the invitation by email and can accept it with a single click—you don’t need a Startnext account to do so. You can make your decision at any time and change it later if you want.

I received an invitation—what does that mean?

The person who started the project would like to add you as a team member to their project team. As a team member, you’ll work with them on the project—for example, on project content, thank-you messages, blog posts, and email campaigns.

The invitation is sent by email and includes a personal invitation link, often along with a short message. Once the project is public, you'll be listed as a team member on the project page with your name and photo.

How do I sign up?

You accept the invitation by clicking the link in the invitation email.

  1. 1Open the invitation link in the email. You'll see the project page—even if the project is still a draft.
  2. 2Please accept the invitation:
For security and privacy reasons, the invitation link is valid for only 48 hours and can be used only once. If it has expired, please ask the person who invited you to resend the invitation.

Can I decline or accept it later?

Yes. You can accept or decline an invitation—and your decision can be reversed.

  • If you declined, you can change your mind later, as long as the invitation is still valid. If the link has expired, just ask for it to be resent.

Where can I find my invitations?

If you have a Startnext account, you can find your invitations in your profile under "My Projects." There, you can view pending invitations and accept or decline them—in addition to the link in the email.

If you don't have an account yet, everything is handled through the invitation link in the email.
